FXPESA may require additional documentation to verify the account is held in your name. This is pursuant to the regulations FXPESA follows set to protect clients' money.
We may require you to verify your mobile money account in the following situations:
- For verifying recipients withdrawal account where the phone number used to deposit varies from the phone number on the client portal
- For processing of a pending deposit to confirm the sender details
- For verification of client details when requesting for phone number change
You may share the mobile money account verification details by emailing our payments team at backoffice@fxpesa.com
Acceptable mobile money account documentation should:
- Clear to read (preferably a scanned copy)
- Have the name on the statement must correspond with the name on your trading account
- Have the contact number must correspond with the number used for the transaction
